Choose the right way to split a PDF
Splitting is useful when one PDF contains several independent documents or when you need to send different page ranges to different people. Use a custom range such as 1-3, 5, 7-10 when you know exactly which pages belong together, or use the automatic every-N-pages option for repeated sections.
If you only need a few selected pages in one new PDF, Extract Pages is simpler. If your goal is to remove unwanted pages while keeping the rest as one document, use Delete Pages instead.
How to split a PDF

Technical limitations
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Ranges are inclusive of both endpoints. So
1-3means pages 1, 2, and 3. - Bookmarks and form fields are not preserved.
