When deleting pages is useful
Page deletion is useful when a scan contains blank sheets, duplicate pages, cover pages you no longer need, or the wrong attachment was included in a combined document. DSPDF shows page thumbnails before you apply the change, so you can check the selection instead of guessing from page numbers. The original file on your device is not overwritten; the tool creates a new PDF from the pages you keep.

How to delete PDF pages
- Drop your PDF into the box above.
- Thumbnails of every page appear.
- Click the pages you want to remove. They'll highlight.
- Click Delete selected pages.
- Your new PDF downloads automatically.
Technical limitations
- If every page is selected, deletion is blocked to avoid an empty PDF.
- Removing pages drops their content but shared resources (fonts, some images) may still remain in the file — so file size won't always shrink proportionally.
- Digital certificate signatures are invalidated by page removal (this is true of any editor).

Can I undo a deletion?
Not after saving — but you can deselect a thumbnail before clicking Apply. Your original file on disk is never touched.
Will the file size shrink?
Usually yes but often only slightly. Shared resources may remain.
Is there a page limit?
No hard limit. Very large PDFs (500+ pages) may render thumbnails slowly.
