How to rotate a PDF

- Wait while page thumbnails load.
- Click the thumbnails you want to rotate (or Select all).
- Choose 90° left, 90° right, or 180°.
- Click Apply & Download to save the rotated PDF.
Technical limitations
- Rotating modifies the view rotation metadata — the same way Adobe Reader's rotate buttons work. Content is untouched, so quality is 100% preserved.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first (use our Unlock PDF tool).
- Individual page rotations are supported — mixed orientations in one document are fine.
Frequently asked
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Only the page's rotation metadata changes. The actual content is not re-rendered or re-compressed.
Can I rotate only specific pages?
Yes — click the thumbnails you want, then pick a rotation. Unselected pages stay as they were.
What about scanned PDFs?
Same behavior. Rotation is a metadata change, not a re-scan.
