Technical limitations — please read
- This tool uses AES-256 PDF encryption for the protected output.
- Password is never stored or transmitted. It's used in-memory during encryption and forgotten when the tab closes.
- No recovery possible. If you lose the password, the file is unrecoverable. Store it safely.
- Some PDF readers do not fully respect all encryption flags; some may open the file with limited restrictions regardless.
