How to enhance a PDF
- Drop your PDF into the upload box.
- Choose an enhancement mode such as Automatic, Grayscale, Black & White, Color Boost, High Contrast or Sharpen.
- Adjust brightness and contrast if needed.
- Use the eraser on the preview to cover unwanted marks and use the crop sliders to trim page edges.
- Choose Current page, a Range, or All pages.
- Preview the result, then click Apply Enhancement & Download.

- Eraser marks are white raster areas; they are not a secure redaction method.
- Crop values are percentages and are applied consistently to the selected pages.

Is Enhance PDF free?
Yes. DSPDF provides the tool without an account and processes the document locally in the browser.
Which mode should I use for a scanned document?
Automatic Enhance is a useful starting point. Grayscale or Black & White can help with monochrome scans, while Color Boost is intended for color documents.
Can I adjust brightness and contrast?
Yes. Both controls can be adjusted and previewed before export.
Can I remove stains or unwanted marks?
The eraser can whiten selected areas on the preview. It should not be treated as secure document redaction.
